» CHARACTER WORLD
The world Eve comes from is one that goes through multiple timelines, although all timelines are at the very least superficially similar to our own Earth. Most timelines heavily resemble our world (save for some historical deviations), and some are even nearly identical right down to the pop culture references and technological advances. There two type of timelines, however, as well as many other features that make Eve's world decidedly different from our own. These important features are:

DELTA TIMELINE:
The timeline Eve was originally from, and also the very first of all timelines--created billions of years before "timelines" were even a thing. Unlike every other timeline that succeeded it, it featured supernatural creatures and many, many urban fantasy tropes. As nearly everyone who resided in it was excluded from the reincarnation cycles, it is considered a deleted timeline and anything that pops up from it in the current timelines is considered a Glitch. For the sake of terminology (and also saving space), here's a link with some basic info about the Delta Timeline, taken from a previous app.

TIMELINES:
Also known as cycles, in reference to the cycle of reincarnation that occurs in her world. There are two types of timelines in Eve's world: single Earth timelines, and multiple Earth timelines. As can be taken from the name, single Earth timelines are timelines where only one Earth and only one layer of reality exists at a time. In multiple Earth timelines, there are multiple Earths divided by multiple layers of reality, although they run parallel to each other (that is, it's the same year for every world).

Which type of timeline succeeds the other is completely random, but each type of timeline still requires someone to be powering the Veil. Single Earth timelines need only one Device for them to be functional, while Multiple Earth timelines sometimes require multiple Devices to keep them running depending on how many layers of reality there are.

THE VEIL:
Much like the Delta Timeline's own Veil, the current Veil functions to separate one reality from the other. Additionally, it serves to keep those with time traveling powers (granted by a Glitch) from going past their current timeline, while allowing those with space powers to go from one timeline to the other. The Veil needs a fully realized Device to be fully functional, although two or more run of the mill Devices can power it with some additional help.

DEVICES & ARTIFACTS:
As has been mentioned above, Eve is a fully realized Device. Devices are rare, synthetic living beings, created intentionally or accidentally when the Veil is recreated for the following timeline (or in Delta's case, before a new game was about to begin). Although fully realized Devices have the capability to fuel the Veil without the need of human sacrifices, most Devices in the Delta Timeline were either destroyed at an early age or lived their days as a "human" medical anomaly. It was only through careful manipulation that Eve ended up fueling the Veil herself, as it was considered a rather undesirable outcome due to the side effects of it (i.e., the Delta Timeline being destroyed and reality being reformatted). Currently, aside from Eve, there are two existing Devices.

Artifacts, on the other hand, are fully functional and natural human beings, but also carriers of unfortunate Glitches from the Delta Timeline. Most Artifacts are born within the same family, going from generation to generation, although there is the occasional Artifact that ends up being born outside of that family line. Although Artifacts are the cause of 99.9% of all the horrible things that happen around them, due to their Glitch, they're also completely immune to a Device's unique ability.

GLITCHES:
Leftovers from the Delta Timeline, that manifest themselves in various ways with various negative side effects. In the current timeline Eve is from, where the year is 2038, a Glitch is currently manifesting itself by mutating the most recent generations of human beings and granting them supernatural abilities upon birth. Naturally, this Glitch is caused by the presence of supernatural beings in the Delta Timeline, as the powers and abilities they possessed are now presenting themselves in humanity.

» CHARACTER ABILITIES
As a fully realized Device and a former hunter, Eve has a couple of abilities she can voluntarily or involuntarily use to her advance. Although few, these are:

THE SCORN:
Each Device, fully realized or not, has their own particular ability that's unique to them. In Eve's case, her ability involves affecting the emotions of those around her if they're emotionally frail or she's been lingering around for way too long. The Scorn, as helpfully coined by other Devices in her story, causes people to develop an acute feeling of despair, which can lead them to making irrational and even dangerous decisions. The longer she stays, the worse it becomes, and it has even driven others to commit murder under certain circumstances. Unfortunately, there's no way for her to turn off this ability, just as there's no way for other Devices to turn off their own. Thankfully, the strength of her ability depends on her own emotional state, and the happier she is the weaker the effect becomes.

LIMITED SHAPE SHIFTING:
As the title implies, Eve has limited shape shifting abilities. These allow her to change between a human form, which she prefers, and her natural form. Being that her natural form is grotesque and displeasing to the senses (in true eldritch fashion), she typically ignores it's existence whenever possible. However, since it does take a bit of energy and control to maintain her human form, she's obligated to let go of it whenever she's exhausted or has been involuntarily knocked out cold. If the need arises, though, she is capable of partially transforming some parts of her body. This gives her access to tentacles, extra pairs of eyes, and many, many other disgusting features she would never ever willingly touch with a ten foot pole.

REGENERATION:
Of course, being immortal also implies having the means to stay immortal. Try as anyone might to kill her, Eve's body will simply heal itself within the span of several minutes or several days depending on the gravity of the injury. Minor cuts and scrapes will heal themselves within minutes, while more severe injuries like having her heart pierced or even decapitation will be fixed within the span of several days. Naturally, the latter implies she will be completely out of commission until she's healed up, but she will never actually be capable of fully dying.

ACID BLOOD:
Not so much "blood" as it is a brown, foul smelling goop, but it does function as blood as far as her biological processes are concerned. While relatively harmless inside of her body, it turns corrosive once it's out of her body. Unfortunately for her, her human form's skin isn't strong enough to handle it, so she ends up getting minor burns or irritated patches of skin whenever she gets a cut or injury. Fortunately for everyone else, this means she avoids getting injured whenever possible, so no accidental second degree burns from touching her blood.

PHYSICAL:
These supernatural abilities aside, Eve is also relatively physically fit. Being that she used to be a hunter, and now currently pretty much walks everywhere she has to go, she's quick on her feet and possess great lower body strength. Also due to her days as a control unit, she's pretty handy with swords and staves--although her skill is nowhere near what it used to be when she was 17-years-old.

» INVENTORY UPON ARRIVAL
(one) cellphone
(one) white dress
(one) necklace
(two) simple silver bracelets
(two) simple silver anklets
(one) hair decoration, which is also going right through her temples...........

» CHARACTER WEAPON
As more abstract weapons are allowed, Eve will be selecting her own shadow due to the convenience of it. It will, initially, only be capable of stretching itself two additional feet from it's original position, but this will slowly change over time. Should she train enough with it, she will be able to extend it to around three additional yards, as well as eventually being able to mold it into nondescript objects. Ideally, with enough practice, this will allow her to create solid rods and sharp knives with her own shadow.

* Although her name is listed as Evelyn Samson, she actually doesn't respond to that name or any other. As it's the name she went by while being raised as a human being, though, and probably one she would vaguely remember if prodded enough.
